This project requires a few more fancier parts like a photo resistor. With this project you can turn it into a simple burglar alarm.

Parts needed:
                    a photo resistor ( buy this at electronics shops )
                    9V battery
                    insulated wire
                    light  bulb or LIGHT EMITTING DIODE ( get these at electronic shops )
                    electronic buzzer ( not necessary - for alarm )

Consruction Details:
                              Connect the parts as shown in diagram below. The LED or LIGHT EMITTING DIODE is polarised or it needs to be connected around the right way so it might take a bit of trial and error to get it right.

How it works:
                     The photo resistor turns the circuit off if it is dark and turns it on if it is light.
